Hi, my name is Jasmyn, and I am a Canadian undergraduate student in my freshman year who loves to knit! I have been knitting since I was approximately seven years old, and recently have started to pursue an interest in creating and publishing patterns.
Although a large part of my blog is devoted to knitting, please don't be surprised by any other topic that manages to find its way in here! In addition to knitting, I also enjoy photography (though I'm not very good!), reading, camping, and rock climbing.
How long did it take from the time you learned how to knit to finish your first project?
As I have previously mentioned, my first project was that ragged-looking grey and red scarf I’ve posted pictured of. It probably took me about a year to really finish, and even then it is very short and not my greatest work.
In other news, since I haven’t posted in a little while (I need to work on that!) this weekend I’m excited to be participating in the JDRF Walk for Diabetes! I will be sure to post photos of the walk, so long as it doesn’t rain the entire time (as it is supposed to).
