New Pattern! Wicked Witch Tea Cozy

I’ve finally gotten around to publishing a new pattern that I had tested knitted several months ago! It’s called the Wicked Witch Tea Cozy, and my inspiration came from the Wizard of Oz.

This is my first pattern that I’m offering for sale, and I’m setting the price at $1.00. You can purchase it from Ravelry, from my Patterns page, or from this post (no Ravelry account required).

As this is the first pattern I am offering for sale, I am also going to have a giveaway! There are three ways to enter, and each will give you an additional entry: Leave a comment on this post with your Ravelry name or email, reblog this post and make sure I know your Ravelry name or email somehow, or comment on the pattern page on Ravelry. I will pick three winners on or shortly after August 10th via random number generator, and each will receive a free copy of the pattern!

Knitting Challenge Day 9… and Exciting News!

I realize that this knitting challenge is taking me a lot longer than it should, but I am determined to eventually finish it!

Today’s question: What fiber or yarn do you love working with?

I love animal fibers! Wool is what I use most often, as it is relatively inexpensive and knits up beautifully. One can never go wrong with Cascade. I also love fleece, angora, etc., but I can’t justify buying these as much, as the price tag is a little bit scarier.

In other news, my new pattern, the Wicked Witch Tea Cozy, has had its first purchase! I was very excited when I saw that this morning!
