What is your least favourite piece that you’ve knit?
My least favourite piece that I’ve knit would have to be the first sweater I made. I spent so long on it, and it didn’t turn out at all like I wanted it to… It was too short, and the sleeves looked like they were made 3 sizes wider than they should have been… all in all it was a bit of a disappointment. However, the process of knitting it, watching Pride and Prejudice and 10 Things I Hate About You on repeat is something that was still worth the while.

As usual, when I went to the yarn store, I spent way too much money on wool! This time I bought 3 skeins of Cascade Eco+, which I’m going to use to make a sweater, which will be my summer project. I can’t wait to get started!
So I realize I haven’t written in a very long time, but life has been fairly hectic recently and I haven’t had a chance.
Firstly, I graduated highschool! Also, I got my IB Diploma! That’s one part of my life that I am finished, and it’s a bit of a bittersweet feeling. On the one hand, it’s good to be growing up and moving on with my life, but on the other, I will miss the people that I won’t be seeing everyday anymore. Either way, I’m excited for what’s to come next!
This summer has been full of fun so far, I’ve moved into my own place (hence why I haven’t been posting, I have no internet), and I’ve been making up for my lack of a social life over the past couple of years. It’s been a good few weeks! I’ve also been working at the climbing gym summer camp, which is both fun (in its own way), and is making me some money!
In knitting news, I have slowed down on the pattern developing, as I have decided that my summer project is a sweater made from that Cascade Eco+, and it is taking a long time. It is coming along well so far though, I’m finished the back, and midway done the front! I’ll update more as I progress, and hopefully just more in general!
I finally finished the sweater I’ve been working on, out of the Cascade Eco+! This is an exciting day!
